Fresh off the Easel

The first piece I completed today.

It is my own version of one of Pierre Auguste Renoir's beautiful floral paintings. In this interpretation I chose to do less flowers and more leaves and some slight variation in color. Painted on an 8" x 10" canvas panel.

This piece I have titled "Tree by Water".

It is a vibrant tree standing firm on a colorful hillside done in a painterly impressionistic style.
